Default fuel issue

coincidence or not ? ran 110 dctane last time out for chit and giggles in the 598 at the end of the weekend noticed my fuel pressure was reading 11 to 15 pds suppose to be regulated at 8 running edlebrock high out put mechanicle modefyed / spring removed to eliminate some pressure , also backed up with areomotive electric . thought it was a electic pump falure but same results just running mechanicle pump . Obstuction possibly but did te 110 octane have any thing to do with this ? THANKS ROB

I would say it was a coincidence with the 110. That fuel could change the pressure and amount of fuel being delivered to an efi engine because of the difference in specific gravity. However, it doubt it had an effect on your engine. I would take the regulator apart and have a look to be sure. Hope this helps, Eddie.
