any Marinas down there that are power boat friendly? Dry storage, wash racks etc? . Any good places to eat, accessible by boat or cool places for a destination?

Thanks for your help.

I'm looking into doing business down there in the near future. It's the closest ocean to me and I thought it would be cool to keep my boat down there from time to time. You know mixing business w/ pleasure.
It would make the drive down there feel like a kid waiting on Christmas.

It's not a bad ride from up here, although 16 sucks! I go down a fair amount a friend owns a place out on Tybee. Heading out into the ocean from Savannah is one of the strangest things you'll find. Goes from river, to bay, to ocean no inlet at all. The water off of Tybee can get pretty rough. Back when APBA was racing there they tore up a bunch of boats! Great boating though.
