I'm sitting at my desk numb with disbelief. My brother just called me, I could tell when he said hello something was wrong. His step-son whom I consider my nephew took his own life last night, he hung himself on the ball field of his college in CT. I note was left but until family gets there today from here in Florida the police will not tell us anything.
Adam has suffered depression in the past but has been doing great for quite some time, he is border line genius, nice girlfriend, really into his car and doing phenomenal in school with corporate headhunters promising him a bright future. I can't seem to absorb the feeling of pain for Bobby-Ann (my sister in-law) and my brother or even comprehend the feeling of loss,confusion and emptiness. I'm writing this and asking for your thoughts and prayers for my family as I consider many here friends and many I think of as family, somehow sharing curbs some of the hurt

How tragic, I had to seriously consider the possibility of losing my son to cancer last year. I can not begin to imagine how big a shock and the pain it is causing everyone. My thoughts and prayers for you and your family.

I truely am very sorry to hear this, I feel your pain. I went through this with my brother, (miss him dearly) and sometimes what appears to be ok on the outside is different on the inside. Keep the faith...Very sorry for your families loss...RIP...Take care. Jeff
