Default From Bravo to Arneson on a Cat-Who's done it?

Thinking about doing something with the drives on my 2007 36Spectre and wanted to hear from anyone that has actually done this conversion on their twin engine cat. Sorry guys, not looking for any "I think's" or "Call Rik at Arneson" type feedback.

I want to know what road blocks were encountered during installation, what holes had to be filled, how your boat ran before and after, etc.

Thanks in advance for those in the know sharing!

mikebrls,

Exactly NOT what I was looking for. Again, looking for someone that has ACTUALLY DONE THE CONVERSION to share some information.

Audiofn,

Thanks, I have done searches and am still looking for more details, less speculation, and perhaps some pictures of work in progress and the results after the change.

Arneson STINKS on getting the parts (sub contracted) and tech support is like "well try this and if that doesn't work try this"

Rick Wimp is a gentleman but he is at the mercey of Twin Disc. We did it on a 38 Formula and what was supposed to take a few months turned into 8 months!

STAY AWAY unless you buy a new boat with Arnesons from the factory.

Sonny,
A friend of mine had a 36 Spectre and when he looked at putting Arnesons on he was told he had to fill the notch in the transom to make it work. Needless to say he didn't put them on.
