My mom had one and drove it for a 1.5 years, it lost about $12K in value with 6k miles on it. Never had a problem with it, its just the base model, and most folks know that, so it cheaps out on several features.

Depends on options, you might have done decent. Caddys have typically taken a beating on resale about as worse as anything made, they all depreciate fast, but caddy goes down nose first and does not stop........they are pretty dependable though. I have learned go German and get it over it on luxury cars.

Wife has an 05 CTS. It has the 3.6L V6.... 255hp rear-wheel drive. It is pretty sporty and still gets 25mpg. We haven't had any problems with it. Bought it new and now has 40k on it.

CTS-V is a cool car, unfortunately it didn't sell well because Cadillac people did not like the manual trans

My attorney buddy has one, 6-speed, with a very blown LS-7 motor version with 200 shot of nos. Different rear end, clutch, tranny, brakes, intake, headers, exhaust.....turnes 11.7. Very quick car, and still looks stock but with wider tires.Jeff
