I plugged my livewire into my new 6.4L and it did not power up. I plugged into my 6.0L to see if it would power up and it did not. I know all obd are the same but some have pins where others do not. Does anybody know if it should work on the 6.0L. Is there anybody here local that would let me plug into there port on a 6.4 just to see if it will work.

they dont work for the 6.4, you have to upgrade the firmware i believe.. something about the ground offsets or something or another..
plus the software for a 6.0 being used on the 6.4 wont work, completely different turbo setup and computer...

but the unit should power up, just may not recognize the new truck was what i was trying to say.

Screamen, The last time I had that problem it was a blown fuse for the lighter.That is where the obd got its power from hope this helps. Trevor

Thanks guy's. Livewire is going to take it back and fix it. They think it is the cord. Pretty good for them to fix it when it was bought used. It is for the 6.4L not my 6.0.
