MSD has a new distributor called the flat head, which is supposed to clear some blowers, but I don't know if that includes 14's. Check their web site: http://www.msdignition.com/2006/06-11.htm
If you want to trade your 14s, PM me. I have 2 TBS 8-71s and am looking for 2 14s.

No the msd will not fit the low deck . I put them in the classifieds to see if someone might buy them for a good price then I might look for set up that clears my billet msd without a problem. How much would you be willing to pay me to trade per blower anyway?

John,
You are correct, the BDS Comp manifold is taller. The plenum profile is also unique.
I believe the MSD 84697 will fit as long as you are using a set-back plate, since this adds to the height of the blower. If not, the crank trigger is not much more expensive. Has anyone formally asked MSD?
