Anybody have a part number for MSD 8.5mm wires that fit a HP500 Carbed motor? I will build them if I have to, but I am looking for a pre-made set. Running the stock Merc distributor and need 90* boots at both ends.

Would these be the same as a 454 330?? I will also need a set.

I just went through this, and wound up buying Taylor 8.2mm Thundervolt wires - $69.99 at Summit TAY-83253. They are available in blue and black, too. I did have to put the distributor ends on, but that was by choice - I wanted them to fit exactly right. Most of the wires were pretty close right out of the box, but everyone routes them just a little different. Fortunately, I had access to the special strippers/crimpers needed.

I just installed 2 sets of MSD 8.5's and they are nice wires cept I was dissappointed in the length's ... I might have ordered the wrong ones but as close I could see was BBC "under headers" They worked but I had to use my "plug wire stretcher" to get some to reach ...m
