Default Mercury SmartCraft

I've run a few searches and can't seem to find any discussions about retrofitting this system to work with the 500EFI motors that I have. Is this possible, plug ' n play ?? Costs, difficulty ?

It can be done but would cost a few bucks, if you are seriously interested let me know and I can put an estimate together for you.
