Talking Mercury Marine SmartCraft Guages

Upon repowering my boat I was informed of the new Smart Craft system of engine monitoring. The technology came with the 496MAG.
I bought the tach and speedo. They're great. I replaced all my guages and was able to flush mount my GPS and Fume detector as well as trim indicators. And I still have room left.
The speedo is connected to GPS for speed and time. Also Gallons Per Hour, instant and ave, is kept. No quesing on fuel in tank. There is a trip set, course over ground, eta etc. Great technology tied to GM's Computer on Board.

Default Looks Great!

Thanks
Works great also. I chose guages. A single LED can be used or full instrumentation all linked by one wire. Even gives air temp. You can also link to water temp sensor.

Ya I saw those out at the LA boat show. It will be cool when and if they make it so you can add it to a older motor
