I finally made a decision to go FOUNTAIn..I was looking at skaters or 28' donzi's with Twin 350's, and a few other boats, but I figured I can spend a lot less money (upkeep and maintenance!) and get myself into a single engine, big block. PLUS...I like the rumble of a big block...
I'm looking for something I can cruise between 45MPH and 60MPH, and if I have to, open it up and run with some buddy's between 80 or 90 MPH. I know i'm going to have to procharge it, and I'm only looking at boats with a 500 EFi or 500 HP in them. I'm mainly running on Rivers and Lakes...
I thought I had myself sold on the 27, however after reading a few posts, and a couple other guys telling me about chine walking at high speed, I'm starting to think i'm better with a 29. I really like the look of both boats, just lookign for some comments about procharged boats, and top end speeds. Does anyone have either of these boats procharged? Looking for some opinions on what I should be looking at in regards to a 27 vs a 29

this boat runs 84+ on a stock 500hp carbed.... XR drive, and you can run it 5500rpm's all day long with great (non supercharged or blower) relaibility.
When it needs it, stroke it out and rebuild it keeping it naturally aspirated and get 90mph easy
i would even consider delivery as far as upstate NY

im not sure of the fuel tank, and im not sure if ben robertson owned it,
what i do know is the boat is a rocket and a ton of fun to drive and cruise in, plus its the poker runner outta hell, runs wide open till it finds the clear water....
unsane, just buy mine and have both till yours sells, im doing it now, its doable, ill even deliver
