It was actually a buddy of mine's blown 454. He ended up buying a new head and a full set of pistons because the replacement one was on back order and he would of missed the summer. I'm not sure if the head was salvageable or not. I know he's got it hanging in the garage as a reminder

My budy is a mechanic and he had a Saab 16 valver drop a valve off and it flipped over and the stem went right into the middle of the 4 valves. It was quite impressive how much force must have been needed to do that.

I still have the screw I retrieved from #4 cylinder!! It's pretty flat!! No damage to anything though. LUCKY!!!!!!!

I was at the dragstrip with a friend who is one of the top motorcycle engine builders in the country. When we fired his bike late in the day, it went clackety clack. Someone had taken a bolt and put it in an intake runner (flatslide carbs with no filters)
