Default Merc 500 efi tail pipe question.

Does anyone know if the design 1 and design 2 tail pipes are interchangable?

Design 1:

Design 2:

Looks to me like the difference is the nipples but I want to make sure.

Merc lookup site:
http://www.mercruiserparts.com/selec...doc_nbr=884709

The design 1 is no longer available. I have the degn 1 headers.

You can mix the parts by using a 90 degree jumper hose. Check the assortment at AutoZone or simular store and trim to fit.
