Need help..please....When removing a Volvo280 how do you take out the 2 large pins that the drive tilts on (The one's that have the hex head screw on either side of the drive)

Any help would greatly be appreciated.......

I forgot how to take those pins out, but it is real easy to remove the upper or the lower and just leave the intermediate in place. Don't know what it is you are trying to accomplish, but to remove engine all you need to remove is the upper gear housing. Sorry if this doesn't help you.

Just remembered, I think. Those hex screws thread out. They will be inch sizing, not metric. They are stainless threaded into stainless inserts in the aluminum. There are also some plastic washers in there also.
