Question Factory-1 Sbi???

Is a Super VEE LIGHT in APBA ok to run in Factory-1 on the SBI tour???The only thing I can see would be the extention box if you were runing one.

Give Kurt or Big John a call. Are you thinking of stepping up???

You'll still need to bring extra sponges.

I am afraid of the answer! My thoughts are only on would it be fair? I dont think so, There rules are pretty laxed in the smaller classes.

Ryan are the Phantoms rigged with extention boxes? Also what are they going to do with there dyno on these boats? Are the specs.just be close to 500-575HP?I will call John tomarrow to see what he feels will be fair. You can count me out if its ok to run them in the same clase as F-1.We race to win every race with equal boats in our class.

Why doesnt SBI ever call me or any of the other F-1 guys and ask us what we feel is fair or what we would like to see in our class? It seems the rules are maid with out asking the people in the class.Maybe i'm missing something, must be my opinion.

Spoke to John at SBI he said the rules wont be done till Monday.Looks like canopy's are ok,no weight rules, any X dimention, any prop, any exhaust and not sure yet on extention boxes.
Sounds like any APBA F-1 boats are at about 6-12mph disadvantage before you hit the water.
Good luck to you all at SBI I know when its time to throw in the towel.
Maybe next year we can build a Super-Vee Lite and do both circuits.
