go to ''diesel place . com'' and search eoh or factory controllers, you can a electric magnet from a electric drum brake setup and fix the problem,,its caused by the controller not getting pinged by the eoh setup

Crayola Crazy,

Were you able to correct your problem based on following Dmaxx's advice? I have an Avalanche w/ a Prodigy controller it works fine on my DMC / Skater Trailer. Test drove 2- 2008 Chevrolet Silverado's this past weekend & neither brake controller operated my brakes so I was curious as to what you did to solve your problem. Lights & signals worked fine but that about it.

Make sure that you check the connections for the electric brakes under the hood. The vehicle is delivered to the dealer with out the connections made, Selling dealer has to connect the wires for it to work. Could be one of the problems your having.

Just wire a magnet from electric brakes in series to the activation wire. The 08 Ford's will not run EOH either and there is no adapter for the 08 Ford. I called the engineer for Carlisle and he told me off the record my idea would work, and it does. No problems at all.
