Default Tekonsha P-3 Brake Controller

Does anyone have one of these? how do you like it? I have heard great things about the prodigy, but the P-3 has more features. I'm pulling a 35 ft trailer (10,000LBS) with an 08 3/4 ton chevy. Any insight is appreciated...

P3 with brake rite EOH as well. Works great and highly adjustable. P3 can switch between straight electric and electric over hydraulic. Be sure to put it in the right mode.

have one also, I had a trailer connected to it and a red warning light was coming on saying there was a short in the trailer. went to rv place and they said the controller was too sophisticated for its own good and plugged in a lower lever prodigy controller without a digital display and said it was a bad reading and everything was fine.

waited for an appt at the best trailer repair place in town, they pulled off the tires and found a wiring hanging and swinging that was part of the brakes, they fixed it and the p3 no longer read the error.

yes the p3 is sophisticated all right, love mine and it has a lifetime warranty. the customer service through the process was great too.

I have one and it is fantastic. We have EOH on the boat trailer and electric on the camper we just bought, so it covers both with ease.
