Default rocker arm stud installation

Do you need to apply anything to the treads other than oil? I took out the old studs and it looked like there was something like RTV on them.

Some heads they run into the intake port. Use a sealer you'll be safe. I used an RTV.

I locktited mine in. Didn't want to take a chance on them coming loose at 5000rpms.

I'm sure the ARP thread sealer would work as well.
