Default pros -cons exhaust tips

Wanting to put the eddie marine SS 4' slash cut with internal non-burn flapper in place of the stock Corsa exhaust. My mechanic thinks this will cause problems due to the sea water that will fill the exhaust tubes. I did this on my last Donzi 5 years ago and never had an issue. What do you think? I like the clean look these have over the bulky Corsa's.

I don't have any problems with my 30 Baja. My tips are a little longer than the ones your looking at though.

I used the Hardin Marine Tips to Replace the Corsa Mufflers.
