Refurb'ing some old Merc aluminum valve covers. Looking for the emblems that go in the middle of the covers. Emblems are thin metal plates, 1-3/8" by 3-3/4". The originals said "400HP Mercruiser High Performance Products". There are others that say "Mercruiser 420", etc. Not really concerned with what the emblem says as long as it is an actual Mercruiser tag.

Anyone know of sources for these emblems?

Did you check with Axa? For sure he's got an emblem GUY, seriously though he might know someone who could engrave a small plate for you. Engrave a plate then color it in to match yours by hand with some small artists brushes. If you can't color it send them up here, Samantha is very handy with that artsie crafty chit. You could check with Merc, but I think that availibility would be long gone.
