Default Valve cover breathers..

I've got oil constantly seeping out of the vents on my valve covers. They're Teagues, with the bolt on "stack" vents. Is there some type of fill-material I can install in the vents to capture the oil before it blows out? And where do I get it?

Thanks in advance!

Is there a baffel inside the valve cover?
If not Moroso makes one.

Steve, I use sweat bands that you wear on your wrist, around the outside they work good, they keep the oil off the covers

No baffles - they're hollow.

Sweat bands? I'm worried about heat. Maybe I'll stick a set if them and a scotchbrite pad in a 450 degree oven and see what happens. Probably do this sometime when the wife's not home..

Thanks for the suggestions.

Craig, neat arrangement. Looks like some custom machining/welding.

But I'm running short on time - too many projects left to get this thing back together!

There are a few hotels back up towards I95 on rt 10. I always send out a flyer to registrants a few weeks before the Poker Run giving details. The ph#s will be in the flyer.

I had the same problem and fixed it by adding a puke tank. Tank was made from a empty paint quart can. No more hoses to the flame arrester. Insert barb fittings in side of can w/ one fitting on top to vent fumes to outside thru hull fitting. I hope this helps. JIM
