Like the price, but do you know why the alpha is only 275 HP?
Can you convert the Bravo 357 to alpha-compatible (I realize its 325 is slightly over the alpha's 300 hp warranty, but I suspect it would be less torque than the 454s that some ran with alphas way back when and would be fine as long as I wasn't too hard on the take offs.)
I saw an ebay seller also selling the 357 alpha as 275hp, but when I asked michigan motorz they said they had a 357 mercruiser in both bravo and alpha and both were 325 hp... I asked again and they again said both are 325...
Would love to learn more about the subtle differences.
P.S. thanks!

P.S. on my first and last real run of the season this year, after replacing transom assemblies, alpha drives, trim pumps, steering, etc. I dropped a valve on my port engine 2 minutes from hauling her for the season so now I'm planning where to go.
