its only done this 2 times,
first time, i left it at the dock that night, and came back that morning to put on traler... started fine, moved across marina, and parked at gas dock while putting trailer in water = then would not start. 10 min latter and some hitting the key, it runs like nthing happend.
second time, drove up river a ways 5-7 miles. floated, and had to move a time or two int he next 2-4 hours. so just crank up and move out away from banck and kill it again. after about 3 hours it did it the second time. by the way. My boats name is OBNOXIOUS.

I have the same engine and mine does that every once-in-awhile. It acts like it's flooded. All I do is stick the throttle in the flooded start position (about 1/2 throttle out of gear) and then crank, and it starts right up Just got to yank the throttle back quick when it catches to keep it from over-revving
