Are there any inherent problems with the 575 motors or blowers?? Are the motors fuel injected or are they carbureted, looking at 2002 boat. Just trying to make sure there is something I dont't know about as far as reliability goes.

Really good motors. There is alot of info on here about them. Do a search. You'll like 'em. A little thirsty but reliable.

Blowers are a little small for the displacement. Very conservative setup. The 256 is spinning pretty fast for moderate boost so rebuild intervals are short.

Dual throttle body fuel injection. Some versions of the blowers had issues with the rear bearings.

As griff said...bearing issues with B&M. If you have a Weiand they are better.

I have a pair of 02's with a little over
350 flawless hours.

02's have the Weiand superchargers that
don't have the rear bearing issue.

I have heard of a few head gasket problems,
but, thats about all the bad I've heard of them.
