Default 496 help needed.

Anyone have the torque sequence for the 496 MAG HO cylinder heads? Appears that i can not find it anywhere online. Installing the cometeic gaskets but I do not have the torque pattern.

For the truck engine start in the center 2 then go clockwise moving outward till they are all tight.

all that is 454 chevy big block that bin stroke ckeck with a speed shop in your town they will more then willing to help. remember its a chevy that flots on weter

Straight from Volvo service manual. Not very clear, not sure if it is the beers I drank or the phone camera...

THanks for the Pic. Get the gaskets in & torqued. Now lets see if the darn thing actually runs. Had some issues when removing the original Intake manifold to install a Whipple. An intake manifold bolt broke off in the cylinder head just below the boss. Then, while drilling the center of the bolt & trying an easy out. The easy out tip broke off. Well after conteplating the mess I figured now would be a good time to remove the cylinder heads & have a machine shop remove the broken bolt & easy out while installing the cometic gaskets to go with the WHipple. Hopefully it'll still run after all the work!

The workshop manual also has a specific procedure for the intake manifold. It emphasis the importance of getting it right to prevent leaks.

If you want I will post the torquing procedure.
