What kind of speeds are you seeing with the 525"s?

I've been looking at ZRC's for a couple months now, and there are some great deals to be had right now. I have an interest in the ex-audacity race boat for around 100k. I know that this particular boat was given massive detail from Donzi to make the hull as fast as possible, and I believe it is running at or over 100 on sealed 525's. My only concern, is it is still a retired raceboat.

I'm also interested in the 03' Powerboat Mag test boat. It is pricey considering todays market, so I'm hoping there is some considerable nego. room if they trully want to sell.

I saw the question on this particular boat at Eliminator as to if it got hot. I would like to know some details on this if available.

Thanks
Corey

I would have thought the boat would have run a little better than that since the ZR's run the same? Please educate me a little.

ZR's with cabins do not seem to run 90 mph with 525's, other than at the bar...LOL!!!! If they break 86 to 87 mph, that is light on everything, and it takes quite a while. The best part about a Comp, is the acceleration. The ZRC will "park" the home owner version.

What power do you have in your ZRC and what will she run?
