Why no VIN #/ reassigned vin/ ODO issue? Wouldn't it still have the 07 Vin from GMC and have a working ODO?

If I had to guess,,, the ODO issue is a compatability issue.

ODO is looking for gas and 4l60 input when its hooked up to the allison.

Just a guess.

you would think if they were able to do all that,,,, they would have the ODO figured out to,,, but,,,,

I bought a trailer from a guy that never registered it in the yrs that he owned it. He wouldnt pay the $200 fine and register it so I could i could transfer with the original #'s. I went the DMV and they called it an abandoned/home made trailer, and upon inspection for roadworthiness by the highway patrol, the DMV issued me a # kinda like that yukon.
