I wouldn't run royal purple if it was free. I run AMSOIL Series 2000 Racing Oil and AMSOIL Marine Gearlube 75w-90.

Just curious - why the down and out on Royal Purple. It was recommended to use in my Bravo drive after I had the gears in the lower case cold processed. And, I thought Konrad uses in their drives? Thanks.

The Mercruiser HP is good for your Alpha. I would go with the Amsoil for everything else.
