Default Drives hitting swim platform.

My drives will hit the platform when all the way up.. Is there a way to stop them from hitting? Like a safety or something. Bravo XR's

I had this problem with my Pachanga when I switched from an alpha to a bravo. We set the trim limiter for trailering. Just can't use the trailer buttom and have to be careful not to overtrim.

I looked in the new Merc shop manual and it states:

"to avoid hitting swim platform with outdrives while trimming up, lift finger off trim switch before the outdrive hits the swim platform"......

Inside the trim rams, there are plastic spacers that can be added. I had to add one more to mine when I switched to different top caps.

For the $ you spend on a nortech ,i would call tron and have him modiefy the swimplatform.

Or like the donz said ,dont trimm to high.
Put a mark on the indicator then you know how high you can go .

Like I said earlier, the spacers inside the rams are missing. It's a simple install.

I also had to add spacers inside the rams when I swithed to a X-Drive. I ended up buying two sets to stop the travel.

They where like $5 a set from Merc. I asked if they where missing a ending 0 zero I can't remember the last time I purchased anything from Merc for $5. Adding the spacers only takes a few minutes. I ended up making my own spanner wrench also when I saw the price for one.
