I have a good friend who has an 05 47 w/ trip 525's and as careful as he is in trimming the drives , his middle prop has hit both the port and stb. lower gear cases bet the prop and the nose. The stb. case can't be far from breaking thru. Has anybody else had this issue? Factory defect? Drives mounted to close? Thanx, Wrink

he should check to see if drives are working at same speed up and down if the center drive moves independent of outer two(faster or slower) will pull them together(outer drives) and cause to hit.
