Has Tyson Chicken really stopped giving their employees LABOR DAY off and changed it to give their employees MUSLIM DAY off??

Not to be crude, but if all the Caucasians on well fare in Tennessee would get off the couch and get a JOB we wouldn't have to worry about over half of the plant being Somalis.

Like the article states, it's a contractual decision, over half of the workers wanted it that way. It's not like Labor day is a white, Christian holiday or something.

Read some of the responses under the article, "It's Un-American"

Yup, over half the workforce at the plant in question is! Just like landscaping and food service around here. Like I said, yank the free ride out from under MILLIONS of Americans and make them do these jobs!

did the cleaners put starch in your sheet again ? is that why you arer so cranky today ? your pick up truck fall off its cement blocks overnight ?

If that's what their workforce wants, why should I care? The biggest holiday of the year in the US is Christmas, but that will change. There were no Christians in North America 1,000 years ago and that changed. If the Spanish hadn't over-run Central America and Mexico, there'd be a whole lot fewer Christians here today.

A happy worker is a productive worker. If they want to trade days, then why not. As was said, they're here because there's a shortage of Americans willing to do the work. Job doesn't pay enough to support a family, you say? You want $11 a pound chicken?
