My 26 sutphen has 200 HP mercs on it that are supposed to be something special built by a guy named Matt Kaiser.
I know when My mechanic looked at them he said they had some race tricks done to them like cross drilled intake ports, open exhaust etc.
What I know about him comes from the previous owner and he supposedly is the guy responsible for making all the outerlimits reach (120 MPH) before they leave the showroom.
There seems to be some connection to the name Kaiser and really fast turbo boats on here but its bobby Kaiser I think.
I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about this guy and his work.
Its always nice to know about your engines origins.
I know dean spent some $$$ with this guy because I saw some reciepts.

Yes I think he was in MD, supposedly he is now in louisiana. He bought a bunch of construction equipment and started a business after the hurricane from what I am told.
Dean says the guy made big power with alot of boats but I cannot find anything online.
figured someone would know something about his work.

Matt's from Massachusetts, I've known him for years. He had (or still has) a shop in Kingston, MA. Matt was the king of V-6 Merc outboards back in the 80's-90's. He built many motors for the Specialized Racing 30 Superboat guys and many many others
I'll ask Gallagher ( Specialized P 512) He's still in contact with him.

Very nice to hear good things.
I posted the same question at scream and fly and got some bad reviews.
Had me a little nervous to be honest.
Everyone said his work was good but attacked his character.
Thanks guys, I'll try those numbers maybe I can get some spec sheets on the engines or something so I know exactly what was done to them.
