Default 1990 28 Warlock How heavy & how fast

Need a 28ft V-bottom Warlock Guru

1990 Boat Single BB with Bravo 1 How heavy? All the stats I can find show 4800 with twin BB. Less 1 BB & B1 drive 3500-4000?

What is the recipe to make this a true 80 MPH boat is it possible or a waste of time?

Will it be a POS Chine Walker at these speeds?

Who's Hull design was this?
Trans and Drive
HP 650+750?
Drive Height
Who's Ext Hyd Steering to use Prop
K-planes?

Who sells a bolt on exhaust tip to make thru hull CMI type Headers noise compliant in Wisconsin

Any info via posts, private email or phone calls appreciated

I can give you some experience about setting up a 28' Scarab excel. Also about 4800 lbs with single BB. Just broke the magic 80 marker. Email if inetested ([email protected])

I ran a 24 Euro for years. Smaller and lighter but the same design (Tom Stolarz). Chine walked at 80 but you could get through it. At 90 plus it was scary. It weighed 3200 with a BB Ford dry. Stolarz is still around and is willing to advise. He makes and sells WPM Hydraulic steering systems and they are pretty damn nice set ups. Search WPM steering. He will have your answers.

I have a friend with this exact boat. 700hp 540 ran close to 80 mph when it was fresh. Boat rides very nice and handled rough water decent. It is not a heavy boat at all. I think I remember him telling me 4500 including the trailer. His had a Imco lower but I don't remember if is was standard length or not.

This gives me a start on fhe feasability of this potential project.

I'll give WPM a call.

Will advise if I move forward.
