Ouch is right!
That's got to be worse that catching the tow hitch in the shin. I've done that more times than I care to remember.

Just be glad you were not running around because you had to "perform"

Or even better that you were not running backwards

OUCH!!! Ok a little follie last night I did, not boat related, but I did the stupidest thing last night. My cat is a total spaz, and when making my bed my cat freaks out, and dives under the sheets and runs around under the covers freaking out attacking anything he can. So I just changed my celing fan last weekend from a 40" to a 52", and I stood up on the bed and pulled the comforter and flapped it trying to mess with the cat, the cat is in total spaz mode, so I do it again and WHAP!! A fan blade to the forehead, full speed, sending me right on my back, seeing stars. I had no idea what just happened, and my cat just missed getting crushed and took off from under the covers at full speed. I look up, and think "oh yeah, new celing fan...DUH"!! I Learned the hard way , this celing fan is a little lower, and alot bigger diameter. Ouch!!! Not as bad as a propshaft, but I look kind of funy today with a bump and bruise. I had to laugh at myself for that one.
