I am planning on replacing the steering wheel on my 98 353 Formula. What do I need to know when I go to match it up?

depending on what you buy, i had to change the hub to match the pattern on the new wheel, mine is a 98 also, you should i think have the same shaft i thought mine had a slot and keyway.

You can buy a wheel with the same bolt pattern or you can go to a different bolt pattern. If you go with a different bolt pattern you'll have to change the hub. Most are a 3/4 round tapered shaft. We have a large selection of wheels and hubs you can look at them here
