Default Remote oil filter block adapter ?

I have two Eddie Marine Block adapters for gen VI , do you leave the spin on nipple in or remove ?

what one do you have the spin adaptor or the ones that have two bolts if you have the two bolt one you have to remove the nipple in the block. I think it is a 7/16 allen scocket to remove the nipple.
