I have a 650 I use for towing my 35" Nordic, and it has no problems. With it's current set up it has a 25K towing capacity. I have the cat 7, and love it.
The ride is pretty smooth for a 10,000. lb truck, I have front air ride suspension, rear air ride suspension, and air seats, so this helps alot.
Not sure who did the retro on the one you are looking at but mine was done by Chris at f650pickups.com
Like anything the more options on these things the more expensive, think mine was about 105K before the paint.
recently added the new front suspension, new rear bumper, and dump bed.
They are fun trucks, will tow anything, and get attention.

If you think you're gonna need a truck this big you must be gonna build a BIIIIG boat lol. Go for it bro, you won't have any towing issues with the F650. Great price but ask him why he's selling it and make sure you see all repair receipts(if any) before you buy.
I've always wanted a "Fummins".
