I am setting up a v22 with a mild v8 OMC 4.0 320 h.p. I have 5.5 in. setback. what would be a good prop for this set up

Send a e-mail to Velocity 22. He has a 22 with a merc 300. I know that he's running a variety of different props and could tell you what works on his application.
