Default whipple SC kit

ok i have a 1994 30' conquest enforcer with a 502 and bravo 1drive, when i bought this boat it came with Whipple SC Kit for a 93-97 502EFI that the prevoius owner had but never installed. It comes with everything needed to install plus a ECM heres the webpage .......... http://www.whipplesuperchargers.com/...sp?ProdID=1148

this is the style that mounts off the spark arrestor on the side of the engine, not the traditional top mount. well long story short, does anybody have any experience good or bad with these setups, any info would help. And yes i will be upgrading the drive at the same time

my main concerns are the fuel system since mine is a VST, and what are my options to upgrade if i even need to? Also do i need higher PSI injectors? Also i have MEFI-1, but it comes with a new ECU so is it still MEFI-1 or has it been upgraded to a MEFI-3 idk, and how would i find out? Thx for the help

Call Arizona Speed and Marine, they can answer all of your questions. They were great when I was setting up my side mount Whpple in my Fountain. Also I spent hours trying to find pics and information and found none, so if you would like some pics let me know I have a bunch.

Yeah i called ASM yesterday and the guy was great, i have some work to do but it should be worth it. I have to upgrade to MEFI-4b, block off the extra injectors and put in higher PSI ones, ditch the VST and put in a Aeromotive fuel pump and regulator and a Cool fuel exchanger .........

i have a few questions for you though. first was yours a MEFI-1, and did u upgrade or use the piggyback computer? .... have u had any problems since installing the kit? (i.e piston melt down, computer problems) ........ did u upgrade head gaskets? ..... was there a noticable MPH and power diffence after? ...... did u upgrade the drive? ....... lastly did u do the conversion yourself, and how long did it take? sorry for all the questions but its hard when theres not to many people who have delt with these old systems. If theres anything tips you learned during the process let me know. Thx again ........ and post some pics or email them to me [email protected]

I did a twin engine set on my 312 Formula (454 efi mags) 4 years age and had zero problems until this past summer when a rear bearing in one of the superchargers went out but Dustin at Whipple industries fixed it up and runs great.

Do a search on ASM before you start handing over your $$$. I have read about and know a couple people that have had issues with ASM's ECM tuning.
