John,
I have used them several times and have never had any problems with them. I used them for just the reason you mentioned...less plumbing or lack of room for the big thermostatic oil filter mount. I would not hestitate to use them again. I would say I have used about 20 of them over the last few years. I think you will be pleased with them.

Feel free to give us a call and we can talk about your specific application, I have had nothing but pleased customers with these, you might also check out the plate coolers if you are restricted on space, they are more efficient and not as big- http://www.cpperformance.com/detail.aspx?ID=211 Thanks,
Brian

John .... I assume your talking about the coolers shown here .... I used the external KE thermostats and have not been happy with them ...only way I can get any benefit is if I run hard for a long time ... They do me no good under normal conditons ( oil too cool) I had to bypass the water around the oil coolers to get to 200*....m

Right I have the remote T'Stat (on right) .... If I did it again I would try the cooler with the built in Stat ...By the time you add a regular Cooler and a remote Stat and fittings and hoses the combo is prob cheaper .....m

Fenderjack, I,ve used 4 of those coolers. The oil warms up fairly quickly and runs 200-220 pan temp. at cruise, and 230-240 WOT. I,m pleased with there performance and clean plumbing.
