290 Sundancer..twin V-6's or single 454???
#1
Anyone have any input on comparing a 290 Sundancer that has either twin V-6's or a single big block? Looking to get one used with either setup or just go with a 30' with twin 5.7's. Take in to consideration fuel consumption, time to plane out, ride, cruising speed, and reliability. Any input is appreciated!

Assuming your talking about the early-mid 90's version......I had a 96 with a single 454/B3 for a short while. Did OK but at that time I had never had a performance boat. I think top speed was just over 40mph

Pigpen, I have a friend who has had one for four years now, this year he put a set of four blades on it and just loves the way it performs now.. Don't know just what they are thou, but I could find that out if need be.
