Default Anyone running wideband o2 sensors?

I am wondering if anyone is running widebands all the time and if so where did you mount it and how is it holding up. The motor I am installing has E top headers I was thinking of welding the bung at the collector by the tail pipe. Pictures would be great.

I put a pair of AEM widebands in my boat last winter. I have CMi's and had bungs welded in as far back as possible. Since my boat is 36 ft long, I had to cut and extend the harnesses. I installed the guage in my dash and painted the rims to match. I bought them at Summit. They work perfect and have helped me tune on the fly. Time and money well spent if you have a non -stock setup.

Sorry don't have any pics and boat is hibernating right now.

I had to make new tails to keep water off O2 senser, are you running jacketed tails?
You can see the bung with the brass plug in it by the collector flange.

I had a bung welded into the side of Dana exhaust for a wideband. Left it in the whole day and it died. $80 each, now I only put it in while tuning.

I run O2 sensors in my EMI exhaust. I had them installed in the risors from the factory and have been running them for 4 years. Be sure you get them in a dry location. I had one in my mercruiser exhaust and they did not hold up well. Good luck!!
