This is the new throttlebody we made and tested for the 500 and 525 engine. The engine in the video is a 500 Mercury with 250 hours. We put a set of Dart 310 heads right out of the box No Porting and a Crane 741 cam. We made 575 HP with the stock throttlebody. We then installed the new throttlebody and made 605 HP. The new throttlebody flows about 2000cfm. We made a iac adapter to mount on the front block off plate but the adapter will bolt right on the back of a 525 manifold. We gained 22HP on a stock engine. It really helps when you got full ported heads and a bigger cam when you can't move enough air thru the front of the manifold.
