Default 33 OL top speed?

What would you think the top speed of a 33OL with 502 mpi's will be? Is this a good engine choice? 415hp right? Thanks

Nice boat but if I was looking I would consider this one, out of Richmond VA, I am not sure it we sold it new or another dealer, but has a nice trailer, freash water, and 496HO's

496 has closed cooling system the 502mpi does not.

A solid 70 MPH boat maybe more. I know with 500 EFI's they are pushing 80 MPH proped right.

The 502 is an excellent motor and one of my all time favorites next to the 500 EFI.

Looks just like SteelOutlawed's boat, NICE!

Mine runs 72ish with headers and 4 blade Bravos. 3 blade mirages will add a couple of mph, but you have to finess it up on plane more.
When they went to the 496s in 01 they also raised the X a bit. A friend of mine has stock HOs in his and he runs 74-74.

Here is a 99 36 OL with 502's for $45K, might be able to put your own blue motors in and still not be out much.

It takes more HP to get a 36 moving, the 36 is kind of a tank, great boat. Just heavy. Oh and a 40OL is really heavy. 33 and 35 are much lighter.

Default 33 OL speed

Last time, i used the GPS, my boat hit 81 with full tank of gas and about 9 people in it. I did have the 525SC with the Teague intercoolers, Hydrolic Cams, MSD, XR drives, boxes and -2 Imco shorties. I think with less people and gas, i could have reached high 80's, running the 32p 4-blade.

On the new project, i am hopping to reach 100-110 hopfully
