Arrow prop silp

Is 16% concider a lot of prop slip.

If its for your 28 Checkmate, then I'd say you're about average.

Check the last 5-7 feet of the bottom for straightness.
Maybe install a 1/2-1" drive spacer.
Different prop or have BBlades rework the one you have.

A bigger single engine boat is going to have more slip than smaller/lighter boats.
