I have a 25 thunder. Can anyone tell me how to remove the seat back? Thanks alot for any help !!

In engine compartment there are plugs on the bulkhead. Remove them and the nuts are behind them.

Thanks but my bulkhead is solid . It looks like it is clovered with resin or a thick paint . Maybe they are under the paint but i cant see any outlined sight of them.

I went out out and looked at my seat and I think Gordo is right. It looks like there are two 5/16 or 1/4 studs that attach to the frame off the seat /back cusion, they go through the top of the bulkhead, about 18" from center to each side. So you would have to use a real long extension, around 18 inches and go into the lower seat stowage area and up into the bulkhead. Use a deep 1/2" or 7/16" socket. Hope this helps, it looks like it would be a PTA.

Different way to attach the seat from your year to mine. What are you doing?

you talkin to me?
my seat back jst lifts off without those nuts on it, and there are two screws that also act like studs and help hold it in place so it lifts out real easy, but stays put. probably not original!
