Default 22' Cc

Guys what can you tell my about the 22' CC that Velocity builds. My dad is considering purchasing one for primaryly fishing and some cruising. We will be boating mostly on the Indian and Banana Rivers in Florida which are close to our place in Cape Canveral. We will probably venture into the ocean time to time. My dad wants more on a bay boat than a true deep V cc. Alright lets here it the good bad and ugly!

Thanks,

MM

Thanks for the info, already contacted the factory. I want to hear experiences from some owners.

I can't say that I've ever ridden in a 22 cc however it uses the same very successful 22' hull design that's been around since the 1980's and that Velocity sold hundreds of.

I was wondering if that was the case, my cousin had a 22' fast boat but i am not a big fan of their ride in rough water.

Thanks for the info

I had one of the first 22' CC built many years ago.
Ran it with a 200 Merc. Then a 325 Johnson. Ran, should I say, well.
The one we had the console was just a touch to big to get around when offshore fishing and the boat lacked a live well.
Other then a flooring issue (after 6 or 7 years) we did not have any problems with the hull.
We could blow by all the Scarab Sports at the time with ease.
