Default getting boat off trailer in my back yard: help?

I am trying to detail the bottom of the boat in the comfort of my back yard. Are there any tricks and or tools to get the boat off the trailer so that I can get int oall the nooks and crannies, then slip the trailer right under again? The boat is a 27' Activator

Thanks.

Randy

Get 20 of your strongest friends...

A frames and straps are the best way...Boat stands and a floor jack will do the trick in a pinch...

The last time we did that, we used a big fork lift and then set the boat on blocks

if it were me i would let the trailer down down full at the front and prop at the back corners with barrols or stands
then if you have a forklift or big engine hoist
park at the port or stb side and lift then wheel your trailer out and prop at front on the keel with a barrol or block of wood

I picked my 30 Sutphen up once upon a time like we do to set up for boat shows. One big a-frame lift in the back with two winches ( one for each hook on each side) and another big a-frame on the bow hook. Drive the trailer out from under it and then set it down on those nice Yardarm roller craddles, or styrofoam, block, whatever. I was able to redo my trailer without leaving the boat in the water for three weeks.

These guys are idiots................

1st Crack open a case of beer with your buddies (helps with decision making)

2nd Tie transom to biggest tree in yard and spray trailer bunks with WD-40. One can per bunk.......

3rd Hook up truck to trailer, mention to your buddies "watch this" and floor it....... Make sure drive(s) are up so they won't get damaged.

When your done tie the trailer to the tree and hook a rope to the bow eye and just pull it back on the trailer with your truck........

Then post pics for all here to learn from..........
