Does anybody have any experience with the Memphis Marine line of speakers and amps? Specifically I'm looking at going with the Memphis Marine 6.5" round coax speakers and a Memphis Marine Amp. Any comments about quality, sound, value, etc would be appreciated.

A friend has a pair of the 6.5's running off of a memphis belle amp and they are crystal clear. I had a set of the studio 8 components about 6 years ago and they were awesome! You just can't beat memphis audio for quality and price. Plus they are american made!

Last year I had a new system installed. Sony head, Memphis Marine (4) 6.5", (4) 8", (2) 10" sprekers installed in the cockpit and a single 1600 Memphis Belle amp for power. This stuff ROCKS!!!!! I have had previous systems from Sony, Infinity, JL and Babb but this system is cleaner sounding and louder by far. Very satisfied

Memphis is good, but if you're looking for marine grade stuff, check out www.wetsounds.com, then pm me...

I bought (2) 6x9 & (2) 8" speakers along with one of their DVC 10" Subs about a little over a year ago and I've been really happy with the performance. Actually got everything on Ebay for less than $500... all of it was the Marine version and new in the box.

Have 4 Memphis 6.5s under the back seat powered by a big 4 channel JL Audio, they sound great.
Kenwood iPod\Sirius head unit, also running 10" JL Audio sub on a JL mono subamp and 4 Kenwood 6" (cabin and cockpit) each on their own 2 channel Kenwood amp.
4 amps, 9 speakers...No wonder I have no storage space left on my 292!
