Default 525SC valve spring #'s

I will be taking the heads off of my gen VI 525SC in the next day or so, to replace the head gasket (hopefully nothing more). So, I'm going to have the heads freshened up while I have them off. I am trying to get the cam specs for that motor. Mercruiserpars.com has the cam # as 451-7892, this is the same number listed for all 525SC motors. I'm not sure if this is correct or not, but I am not able to find any info on this cam. I am looking for a replacement valve spring, I've been given an Isky spring# 8005-sp, but that was assuming I had a roller cam, & it appears I don't.
Anyone have the cam specs for this motor, or a spring # I should use?

The cam, as well as springs etc were from Crane. It is a flat tappet hydraulic cam. The specs will be listed in the Merc HP manual which most any Mercruiser service place should have.

I PM'd with him about the specs. Its a Crane 132561 flat tappet cam. 228/236, .530/.551, 114 lobe sep. I don't have the exact specs on the springs since Cranes website is gone, but I was just PM'ing with Eddie young and he said he found the specs were an install height of 1.875 and 130# open seat pressure.

Rangerrick, I just sent you a pm

Griff, the springs are Cranes, but they are exact to the Isky 8005A. They have the same free length, pressure at 1.875 and the same rate at 400#/inch. The stock springs go in at 1.875 at 130# and at 1.375(.500 lift) they are 320#. The cam lift is 531 int and 551 exh., so they end up with about 340# over the nose(open). Hope this helps, Eddie.

Would you happen to have the valve seal part # for these springs also? I can not find them. The stock valve seals will not fit in the center of the triple Isky spring, the springs that were on my 525sc were double spring. I was lacking about an 1/8inch of clearance. I ended up going to a local engine builder and he had 16 that would work but did not have the part # so I could order more he just had them sitting in his parts room. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
